- To rouse interest and uncover the talent of playing chess among students and publics from all across Malaysia and neighbouring countries.
- To strengthen relationships between MARA staff and other organisations while providing exposure for the public to get to know MARA educational institutions.
- To open opportunities and encourage primary and secondary students to participate in the program to earn PAJSK scores.
